
AlohaTechs offers Custom Built Computer Systems of all types. For the time-being, AlohaTechs.com has decided not to post specs or prices for systems. Each system is built based on the needs and budget of the Client. The PC hardware industry is always changing and new, faster technologies are always becoming available. As these new Technologies become available, the older products get cheaper. Using this method allows each client to get the best available technologies at the lowest prices available.
Custom System Building Process
System Consultation:
AlohaTechs builds a unique system for each Client depending on the budget and specific needs for use of the system. This is done by a consultation where we discuss your needs.
- Establish an overall budget for the system.
- Discuss your specific Hardware Needs.
- Discuss your specific Software Needs.
- Operating System?
- Office Suite Needs?
- Anti Virus Software?
- Proprietary software for Business?
- Discuss any data which needs to be integrated.
- Discuss any Peripherals Needed.
- Discuss if On Site Delivery & Setup is Needed.
System Negotiation:
Once AlohaTechs has gathered the information needed, we then provide the Client with an Estimate to Build the system and a Time Frame which they can expect the system to be completed. All Estimates are given with No Obligation.
- Research Current Parts Available at Vendor.
- Creates Best Possible System within the Budget.
- Prepare Order of Parts for System Build.
- Provide Estimated Cost of Build to Client.
- Client Decides how to pursue the Build.
- Client may make any changes at this phase.
- Once Build is Confirmed, 50% deposit is required.
- Once the Deposit is received, the parts are ordered.
- Once ordered, the order may not be modified.
- Once the parts are received, we begin the build phase.
System Build:
- AlohaTechs Builds the Systems Hardware.
- Installs the Operating System on the System.
- Install additional software on the System...
- Office Applications,
- Productivity Suites,
- Anti Virus Applications,
- Any other which is agreed upon.
- Burn-In Testing is Performed for 24-hours.
- Transfer of Existing Data if agreed on.
Pickup or Delivery of System:
Once the system is Completed, AlohaTechs will Contact You to Arrange Pickup or Delivery of the system. This process will vary depending on which Services were agreed on during Negotiations.
- Delivery of System (if Service is Requested).
- Unpacking & Setup of System.
- Configuration of Internet Connection.
- Configuration of Email Service.
- Configuration of any extra Peripherals.
- Remove and Recycle of Old Computer (if Requested).
Custom System Warranty Information
Each System Built by AlohaTechs carries a 1-Year Warranty on Parts and Labor. Extended Warranties are also offered. The cost depends on the System being Built. If you are interested, please let us know you also would like Extended Warranty Service.
Hardware Warranty:
The Hardware Warranty is passed on to you from the part Manufacturer Directly. Should a part go bad while it is inside the Warranty Period, AlohaTechs will work with the Manufacturer to get the part replaced and perform the labor at no additional cost to you. The usual process for this is to send in the defective part to the Manufacturer for Replacement.
Additional Warranty Info:
AlohaTechs does not warrant Systems which are infected by Viruses or Spyware. This is a Software Issue and not Covered as part of a Hardware Warranty. AlohaTechs does not warrant systems which fail due to power fluctuations or inconsistencies in power. This can happen when using Unstable Power Sources such as Gas Generators, Photo Voltaic and other Alternative Power Sources.
