YWCA Hawaii Island

AlohaTechs was confronted and asked to build a website for the YWCA of Hawaii Island. The YWCA had an existing website that was outdated and poorly formatted and did not serve its purpose. AlohaTechs worked with the YWCA Board Members to create a new website that features the YWCA’s Events, Company History and Information about the Organization as well a Job Opening Section. In addition the site features contact forms, photo galleries, a membership component and more. The website is managed by YWCA’s Administrative Staff and was launched in September, 2013. The site was built using the Joomla Framework and uses many commercial plugins to achieve different fuctionalities. The site also uses HTML5, CSS3 and jQuery. AlohaTechs was thrilled to complete this project for the YWCA which provides an excellent, much needed local service here on the Big Island. We were glad to provide assistance with this project.
