CLIENT PROPOSAL

Initial contact is made and a meeting is arranged. The project is discussed in detail and the client is provided with a proper proposal for the project. This proposal includes the estimated cost to complete the project. In most cases AlohaTechs asks for 50% of this at the time of acceptance of project.

CONTENT SUBMISSION / PLANNING

This is the second phase of the website development project. During this client created content for the site is provided to AlohaTechs. A website navigation structure is made where the website planning begins. The site’s pages are determined and the site layout and design is established. Then the content is created for each page.

SITE TESTING / OPTIMIZATION

During this third phase AlohaTechs tests the website in multiple internet browsers, with multiple devices and screen resolutions. We make sure the site is visible and optimized for Large Desktop Screens, Tablets and Mobile Devices. We make sure the site code is free of errors and optimized for search engines so that it will appear in internet searches accordingly.

CLIENT APPROVAL

At this fourth stage of the project the website is presented to the client. In many cases, this phase overlaps the third phase. During this phase the client has an opportunity to look at the site and make changes, modify or change the layout or design, add or remove pages or content of the site. This is often done twice or even several times, until the client is satisfied with the website and ready to go live.

GO LIVE PHASE

During this 5th phase AlohaTechs takes the website from the temporary staging area which was used to develop the website and moves it to the client’s domain/hosting plan. Once this is done the website is fully live at the client’s domain. Depending on the agreements made, additional services such as email setup / configuration, social media marketing, website marketing campaigns such as Google AdWords or Pay-Per-Click campaigns are also setup and completed.

FINAL WEBSITE SETUP / CONFIGURATION

The website at this point is fully live at the client domain. Each page is optimized for search engines and given proper titles and keywords and metadata. Once this is complete a backup is made of the entire site and saved to AlohaTechs servers. Depending on the project agreement, ongoing maintenance can begin at this time or the site is handed off to the client administratively. At this time any remaining balance / final payment is due.
